Meet Our Team
Thomas Marinaro is a Partner and President of Residential Home Funding Corp. He is responsible for the company’s sales effort. Prior to joining RHF, Tom was a founding Partner of the Mortgage Corner, a leading NJ mortgage banker. In 2005, the Mortgage Corner merged with RHF, creating the current company structure. Today, RHF has established itself as a major presence in the mortgage industry, with almost 50 office locations. Tom loves custom suits and wears them everywhere - unless he is on the golf course.
Chief Financial Officer
Julio A. Salazar, Jr. is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Residential Home Funding Corp. Mr. Salazar is responsible for the company’s accounting and finances and heads the secondary market department. Prior to joining Residential Home Funding, Mr. Salazar was a founding partner of Home Owner’s Asset Co., a licensed mortgage broker located in Briarcliff, NY. Aside from being incredibly handsome, he is always dressed to the nines.
Chief Executive Officer
Roberto Lupi is a Partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Residential Home Funding Corp. Mr. Lupi has a hands-on role in the company, with his main responsibilities focused on developing and implementing high-level strategies, setting the company’s direction and overseeing its financial, compliance and human resources departments as well as the organization at large. Roberto is hysterical, and will crack jokes with you all day long.
Vice President of Retail Sales
Ralph established the Consumer Direct Division as a response to the evolving needs of clients. As a mortgage banker with an eye on the millennial demographic and a reputation as a media liaison, Ralph is redefining the role of the banker in today’s buyer centric real estate market. Featured on CBS, iHeartRadio and several other media outlets, Ralph keeps his attention firmly focused on the trends and tides of the new world real estate game. He is a distinguished competitive athlete and is one of, if not the best-dressed in our office.
Director of Retail Sales
Affectionately known as the “Mortgage Guy with the Bow Tie”, Rick brings knowledge, passion and a sense of humor to the real estate and mortgage industry. He is responsible for developing new and strengthening existing referral partners throughout the real estate community. Building on his 12-year stint as RVP at Weichert, Rick currently manages partnerships with Re/Max, Keller Williams, and Realty Executives. Rick is known for telling hilarious jokes on demand, so make sure to stop and ask for one every time you see him. He loves that.
Senior Vice President of Branch Development
Frank entered mortgage banking as a Loan Originator in 1991, mastering in-house, media driven originations and developing a large referral-based business with Realtors and Financial Planners, earning him #1 originator status at a major national mortgage bank. In 1999, he recognized the importance of the new branch concept in the mortgage industry and created a branch division as a new profit center. Since then, Frank has been an RHF rock star. He likes sushi, a nice suit, and can sell gloves to a man with no hands.
SVP Branch Relations
Maxine oversees all of the departments within operations to ensure uniform and streamline processes help the flow of our loan files. She joined RHF in 2009 and held positions for over 22 years in mortgage operations and branch development with US Mortgage Corp. Mrs. Smith truly understands the importance of relationships in business, and how important it is to maintain those connections as Branch Managers and Loan Originators move forward with a new company.
Executive Vice President
Brian has more than 25 Years in the Mortgage Banking industry. He is the operational efficiencies and service specialist, and was previously a mortgage bank owner, national sales manager, and DE underwriter. He loves lacrosse, and lives with his wife and two children. Brian is hands down the nicest guy you will ever meet.
SVP Retail Sales
Before joining Residential Home Funding Marc owned and operated 2 successful restaurants for over 15 years. His career change was prudent as he worked his way up the Residential Home Funding Corporate ladder from a Loan Officer in 2005 to Sr. Vice President of Retail Sales. Marc has been a top Loan Originator every year since starting his mortgage career with RHF. No matter what arises, Marc has a solution to every problem, and is a huge help around the office. He also has a Bluetooth surgically attached to his head.
VP of Closing / Corporate Trainer
Sara is the RHF Corporate Trainer and is a DE Underwriter. She has been in the industry for over 20 years and plays a vital role with the company as the Encompass master. She is known as the RHF Yoda (only she isn’t carried in a backpack).
Chief Information Security Officer
Dave joined Residential Home Funding in 2009, and is responsible for directing all technology initiatives for the company. He oversees all networking and support in corporate and branch offices, data security, telecommunications and the help desk. Dave has worked in IT for over 25 years, primarily in the financial, transportation and insurance industries. Dave is super relaxed, and is a brainiac who loves hiking, skiing, motorcycles, fishing, golf… pretty much anything that involves being outside.
Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration
Mari oversees the accounting, payroll and financial reporting departments for the company. She is also responsible for cash management and treasury operations, investment tracking, accurate and timely financial reporting, expenditure control and a full array of other financial services as it relates to the company and its branch offices. Her baby is one of the cutest we have ever seen.
Vice President of Training and Development
Barbara has developed a comprehensive training program, runs the RHF new hire orientation, and provides ongoing training for veteran employees to assist with the development and communication of strategic plans. Barbara resides in Northern New Jersey and enjoys bike riding, tennis and relaxing with her family. She is incredibly helpful to all RHF employees and always offers up her time.
Since joining Residential Home Funding Corp. in 2013, Janette has moved from Quality Control/Home Renovation Analyst to Compliance Officer, gaining more in depth knowledge and managerial experience along the way. She’s happily married to her husband, William Rivas, for 15 years and they have 4 beautiful children together.
Vice President of Quality Control
Johanny is 20 years’ young in the mortgage industry and head up our QC dept. If you make an error, she's there to catch you. She's from the Caribbean, but doesn’t like the sand. She speaks with an accent, but sings without one. She loves to read when her kids allow her time to breathe.
Vice President of Secondary Markets
Karina has been with RHF for 16 years (yes, since she was 12!). She works closely with loan officers and investors in finding new outlets to help our borrowers. She loves laughing and having fun – and always has a smile on her face.
With over 15 years’ experience in the real estate and mortgage industry, Lissette brings a robust wealth of licensing knowledge to our team. She heads up the licensing department, and manages all licensing and registration for our entire corporations, it’s branches, and individuals.
Georganne brings over 11 years' diversified experience in digital media and technology including content marketing, digital advertising and new revenue growth strategies. A natural leader and effective communicator, her online-centric focus keeps RHF on the map. She is a sucker for a good "that's what she said" joke.
Director of Human Resources
Jamie joined RHF in July of 2016 with the responsibility for developing and implementing on-boarding, performance management, employee retention and employee relations policies and strategies. Jamie holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). Jamie is originally from Texas and only in NY for a few years. She makes sure everyone is fully aware of her heritage.
Director of Company Events
Dana came to RHF in 2002 and is also the Assistant to the President, Tom Marinaro. In addition, Ms. Kyriakou is responsible for publicity events, sponsorships, charitable events and contributions, and more. Without Dana, there would be no events, especially our famous annual golf outing. And we all know the executives need their golf.
VP of Underwriting
Jean is a mortgage professional with over 30 years in the mortgage industry. She have been a managed every stage of the mortgage process from originations, processing, underwriting, closing, post-closing. She has a unique ability to balance customer service while assessing risk. She is truly will roll up her sleeves and go above and beyond for all our customers. Her passion is football, boating and deep sea fishing.
