An Evening of Wine and Roses, All in the Name of Newton Medical Center

Jacques

The Newton Medical Center offered its community tastings of the finest culinary delights paired with some of the world’s most lavish wine and spirits at their annual fundraiser on May 19th. Residential Home Funding Corp. was the main sponsor of the event, with event proceeds benefiting the Foundations’ 2016 Campaign for Emergency Services.

The celebrity chef this year was Jacques Pépin, who has previously hosted 13 TV series on cooking and is an author, artist, and media personality. Guests enjoyed tastings from some of New Jersey’s finest, including Andre’s in Sparta, Ventimiglia Vineyards in Wantage, and wheelHouse Kitchen + Bar in Augusta. There were raffles offered, as well as autographed cookbooks, gift bags and champagne to VIP guests.

The Newton Medical Center Foundation is the humanitarian branch of Newton Medical Center. They thrive on support from generous lenders such as Residential Home Funding, both sharing common goals with their focus being on service to their communities’ needs.

RHFC’s President Tom Marinaro and some of his top team members were in attendance, which took place at Centenary College in Hackettstown. The event was the largest fundraiser of the year for Newton Medical Center Foundation, and the guests enjoyed the buzz of the spirits while filling their own spirits in the name of giving back to a worthy cause.

Top Mortgage Company Donates to George Bowman Survivors Fund

Pennsauken Country ClubThe 11th Annual George Bowman Survivors Fund Golf Classic was held last week at the Pennsauken Country Club in Pennsauken, NJ. The George Bowman Fund assists the families of New Jersey FOP members who were killed in the line of duty.  The benefit is given to the recipient family within one week of the officer’s death to help the family remain solvent until pension and insurance benefits begin.

Residential Home Funding Corp (RHFC) was happy to be in attendance, and proud to donate to such a worthy cause. 100% of the money donated to this fund goes to benefit the families with no administration fees charged.

George Bowman was a N.J. F.O.P. member who died in the line of duty effecting an arrest in 1995. He had been a staunch advocate for survivor rights and benefits. The State Lodge created the George Bowman Survivors Fund on his behalf in 1996, and an annual fundraising event began in honor of his career and achievements.  Each year the N.J. F.O.P. holds an annual golf outing in his memory and name.  As the fund grows, so does the benefit given to the families.

$20,000 Raised for L.E.A.D. Program, Kids with Cancer

LEAD Program Kids with Cancer 1

PARSIPPANY, New Jersey (May 31, 2016): Residential Home Funding Corp. (RHFC) hosted a Night at the Races at the Meadowlands Racetrack on May 13th, raising $20,000 with over 400 people showing up to the new and ultra-trendy Victory Sports Bar in East Rutherford, NJ. The rain kept guests inside, but the event was a total success not only as a fundraiser but as a smash hit amongst attendees who lounged on plush sofas while watching the races on massive flat screens. The cocktails and the cause fueled the evening, with the focus on charities RHFC cares about most.

“There is a massive drug addiction problem in our state, and I am using my platform to give whatever I can to help tackle it,” says Tom Marinaro, President of Residential Home Funding Corp. RHFC funds homes for all families, working with teachers, police officers, and first time buyers (among many others) to get them into their dream homes. Every homeowner knows someone touched by the disease of addiction, and the L.E.A.D. Program – Law Enforcement Against Drugs – attacks the problem head on by offering anonymous resources to NJ students exposed to drugs, overdoses, and uncertainty if they find themselves with a problem. The L.E.A.D. vision is to also create a safer and healthier community free of bullying and violence with new curriculum to help families deal with these current troubling issues. LEAD Program Kids with Cancer 2

It didn’t stop there. RHFC split the funds and gave half to cancer patients. Alex Dzielak of Linden, NJ is only six years old and is battling Muceopidermoid Carcinoma, a rare cancer of the salivary glands. Annie Wojtanowski of Brick Township, NJ has stage four breast cancer, and also received donations.

Jim Rohn – renowned entrepreneur – says, “service to others leads to greatness.” RHFC agrees charity is the key to a great life. As a national force in the mortgage banking industry, the company is rated as a top lender, with their partners including REMAX NJ, AAA NJ and FOP NJ, making them the choice mortgage banker to give you the key to your new home. RHFC is a progressive company that genuinely cares about people’s needs, a fact which becomes obvious when you read their testimonials at www.RHFunding.com/about-us/testimonials/.
